The 2024 Sprinter cargo van comes in four platforms of increasing payload capacity and power: 2500, 3500, 3500XD, and 4500. Available in all-wheel drive, Mercedes-Benz also offers the option to upgrade to a 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive system similar to the E-Class, S 550, and other passenger cars. Capable of handling off-road adventures, the Sprinter is notably easier to maneuver than other cargo vans, thanks to its chassis design.
Unlike previous versions, the 2024 Sprinter Cargo Van does not have a gas engine option. However, it comes equipped with a four-cylinder turbo diesel engine with a standard output of 170 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The standard turbo diesel engine supports a max towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. and a max payload of 4,699 lbs. Upgrade to the twin-turbo high-output diesel engine to get an extra boost with 211 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This engine boasts a max towing capacity of 7,500 lbs. and can haul an impressive 6,812 lbs. per payload.
